If you are interested in purchasing from me, you should know a little bit about me.

1970’s: I was a partner in a bike shop that is still alive and well and went on to become the New England rep for a bicycle components distributor where I took the territory from second worse to second best.

1980’s: I became the first product manager for the same distributor and began extensive travel to Asia to source products. I was hired by a competitor as vp of purchasing only to be hired back as vp of marketing where I was the primary liaison with their newly purchased bicycle division – Mongoose.

1990’s: I was president and founded Sachs USA and worked extensively with their German and French factories to modify their product lines. I put together a program to sponsor the Cannondale MTB team putting Sachs on the map. I was also responsible for the Taiwan Sachs office and during this time was named one of the 25 most influential people in the bicycle industry. Toward the end of the decade, I spent a year as a full time marketing consultant to Lee Iacocca on his start up e-bike project and was vp of sales and marketing for Trico Sports, and LA based bicycle saddle maker.

2000’s: I started a product development company for the bike industry and was the first to establish high end wheel building in Asia. I worked closely with Velomax (later sold to Easton) for oem wheel production for Schwinn. I was president of a new start up saddle company – SaddleCo – that tried to introduce a new technology into bicycle saddles.

I founded Neuvation Cycling in 2002 – a high end wheel and bike company whose sales peaked at $2.3M in 2010 handling everything except the physical warranty work, assembly, and shipping. In addition to my experience in all aspects of sales, purchasing, importing, and marketing, I am well versed in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and 3D cad (Rhino). At Neuvation, I wrote a daily newsletter with a circulation of 10K and an open rate of close to 30%.

In 2014 it was time to reboot my life and to enjoy it a little more.  Although I still do everything, I am doing it at a slower pace and enjoying it more.  You will not find the sub $200 wheel sets anymore but will continue to find truly excellent products at fantastic prices.

If you love your work it’s not work.
